Gautam Gambhir says Suryakumar Yadav release was the biggest loss for KKR

Former skipper of KKR Gautam Gambhir recently told that KKR’s biggest loss was when they released the dynamic player Surya Kumar Yadav. He added that someone loses is someone wins. Mumbai Indians have perfectly utilized the talent of Suryakumar Yadav.

He said that his biggest mistake was as a captain of KKR that he had not used Suryakumar Yadav at no.3 position which probably led the batsman to move to Mumbai Indians and proving his worth there. Suryakumar Yadav was initially bought by Mumbai Indian in 2012 but he played only 1 match there and got out without scoring. After that KKR bought this batsman, he played some very effective knocks for KKR but at the peak of his career he was released by KKR and he rejoins the Mumbai Indians camp and currently giving his services to the team as a destructive batsman. Gautam Gambhir won the IPL trophy twice as a captain of KKR in 2012 and 2014.
